Jack McGowan
Manual Physio, Rehab Physio, Sports Physio, Occupational Health Physio
Jack graduated from University College Dublin (UCD) with a first-class honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2018 and has also completed a master’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2022.
When he qualified Jack moved over to the UK to work full-time in professional football as a physiotherapist and has worked at both academy and first team level for AFC Bournemouth, Oxford United F.C and Bristol Rovers FC. He has also worked in Oxford’s busiest private practice while working for local GP surgeries as a specialist physiotherapist.
Jack believes in a patient-centred approach to physiotherapy and is passionate about helping people from every walk of life. Having suffered from his own injuries he understands the frustration of being in pain and unable to carry out normal activities. He enjoys getting to the root of the problem at hand and takes pride in working hard to not only fix but also prevent the problem from reoccurring.
Outside of work, Jack loves to keep active. In his younger days, he was a keen runner and competed as a category 1 triathlete until injuries stopped him from pursuing this further. He now plays GAA for his local club and when not kicking a ball he can be found going for a run or in the gym.
